Abstract:
      Resin adsorption and separation process is one of the key technical difficulties in preparation of ultra-pure lanthanum oxide by resin exchange method. Applying regular grade of rare earth separation plant production lanthanum chloride (La2O3/ΣREO=99%~99.999%) as raw material to investigate effects of material liquid concentration and purity, eluent of velocity in resin column, pH value, concentration, reaction temperature and pressure on purification by method of resin exchange. Better material liquid purification indexes of resin adsorption rate of 88.60% and separation efficiency of 96.56% are obtained. After precipitation and calcination, product of lanthanum oxide with purity of 99.99995% is obtained. This method has the advantages of simple equipment, low cost and low investment, which not only provides scientific support for large-scale production, but also provides a technical reference for purification of other rare earth elements.
