Abstract:
      Thermodynamic simulation research method is more and more widely used in field of metallurgy, which can study high-temperature complex chemical reactions involved in pyrometallurgy well. Smelting process of copper and lead is mainly based on pyrometallurgy, involving complex chemical reactions of high temperature, multiphase and multi-component. It is difficult to study reaction mechanism with ordinary experimental methods. Thermodynamic simulation method can simulate reaction of metallurgical process, analyze its thermodynamic behavior, clarify reaction mechanism, improve production efficiency of enterprises, and provide theoretical guidance for actual production process. Development of thermodynamic model and its algorithm, and thermodynamic simulation software developed at home and abroad were systematically introduced. Research status of thermodynamic simulation in copper and lead smelting process is emphatically introduced, and development prospect of thermodynamic simulation in the future is prospected.
