| Abstract: |
| Anode steel claw is connection structure between anode guide rod and carbon block of electrolytic aluminum. It needs to transmit strong DC current to electrolytic cell and hold anode carbon block under electrolytic environment. Therefore, it needs to have high temperature strength, high temperature conductivity and low cost. At present, the anode steel claw material industry lacks industry standards, and the production materials and production methods are not strictly controlled. This makes the steel claws have problems such as high resistance, high voltage drop, and low strength. In order to solve these problems, low resistance, high performance and high strength anode steel claw material was developed and industrial test in a 300 kA series test tank was carried out. The industrial test results show that voltage drop of low resistance and high performance anode steel claw is 33.9 mV, which is 42.7 mV lower than that of new steel claw. It can provide space for further energy saving and consumption reduction of electrolytic cell. |
