Abstract:
Aiming at soil of a tungsten smelting site in Luoyang, Henan province, characteristics and health risks of emerging pollutant tungsten pollution were assessed by geo-accumulation index and health risk assessment model, risk control values of different exposure paths were calculated, and the sensitivity of model parameters was analyzed. The results show that except for pollution level of tungsten in surface and middle soil layers of S01 and S12, pollution level of soil in each region can reach the moderate rank or above. Degree of tungsten pollution in soil layers Ⅰ, Ⅱ and Ⅲ is relatively high, and some areas have reached the level of heavy pollution. Although the degree of tungsten pollution in soil layer Ⅳ is lower than that in the above soil layers, however, most areas of layer Ⅳ also reaches the level of moderate to heavy pollution. Tungsten pollution in soil layers Ⅰ and Ⅱ has a great impact on children""s non carcinogenic health risk. Moreover, oral intake is the main exposure route affecting children""s health risk, which needs more focus and protections. Comprehensive risk control value of 15.26 mg/kg in different exposure pathways is selected as risk control threshold of soil tungsten in this site, which could be used as the target value for filtering and remediation of soil tungsten pollution. In the risk control model, EF, ED and IngR, which should be carefully selected in calculation, have the most significant impact on comprehensive risk control value of soil tungsten.
