Abstract:
Recovery of selenium from semiconductor waste by adjusting oxidation potential in HCl-NaClO3 system was studied. Effects of various factors on purity of crude selenium and recovery rate of selenium were investigated. The results show that purity of recovered crude selenium is 98.08% and recovery rate of selenium is 98.75% under the conditions including particle size of raw material of -0.125 mm, L/S of 10 mL/g, initial concentration of hydrochloric acid of 3 mol/L, oxidation potential of solution of (650±15) mV, reaction temperature 70 ℃, and reaction time of 2.5 h.
