Abstract:
Vanadium-containing shale leaching tank is main operating unit of wet process for vanadium leaching section of vanadium shale, with problems such as uneven solid phase distribution and easy deposition of trough bottom minerals. Effects of two-phase flow on solid liquid in mixing tank were comparatively analyzed by numerical simulation under conditions of double-layer impeller at the same speed and different speed. The results show that when rotating velocity of double-layer impeller blades changes from 1.3 r/s to 1.7 r/s, volume of dead zone drops from 5.02 m3 to 2.03 m3, mixing time drops from 1 501 s to 1 116 s, and average velocity of near free surface rises from 0.32 m/s to 0.56 m/s. Therefore, it is more appropriate to choose 1.7 r/s stirring speed. When rotating velocity of upper impeller blade changes from 1.5 r/s to 1.7 r/s, volume of dead zone drops from 2.95 m3 to 2.33 m3, mixing time drops from 1 261 s to 1 146 s, and average velocity of near free surface rises from 0.44 m/s to 0.54 m/s. Therefore, when rotating velocity of upper impeller blade is 1.7 r/s and lower blade is 1.5 r/s, stirring power can be kept at relatively low level, and stirring efficiency can reach a high level.
