| Abstract: |
| Furnace structure, main design parameters, operation and main problems of current side blowing furnace were expounded. In order to further enhance the advantages of side blowing furnace in investment and operating cost, side blowing furnace needs to optimize furnace body structure, greatly improve production capacity and furnace body life, operate mechanization and intelligent. Method to improve capacity from 300 kt/a to 600 kt/a was discussed. Measures to prolong life of furnace body from the present 2 to 3 years to 8 to 9 years of the same of flash furnace were adopted. |
