Abstract:
High nickel matte leaching residue is an important intermediate product of nickel hydrometallurgy process. It contains valuable metals such as copper, nickel, cobalt, gold, silver, platinum and palladium, which has important comprehensive recovery value. Exploring distribution behavior of multi metals in metallurgical process of high nickel matte leaching residue has great significance for improving comprehensive metal recovery, optimizing material balance of the system and promoting upgrading of process technology. Based on typical metallurgical process of high nickel matte leaching residue from Fukang Refinery in Xinjiang, combined with literature investigation and industrial production practice, migration trend of main metals of copper, nickel, cobalt, iron and precious metals gold, silver, platinum and palladium in high nickel matte leaching residue were explained, morphological change process of each metal was revealed, and distribution behavior of each metal in residue and solution was analyzed. It can provide support for process design and optimization.
