| Abstract: |
| The problems exist in copper smelting system of Zijin Copper Co., Ltd. before transformation were introduced, and overhaul projects in 2020 were introduced. Major problems of the system have been solved after overhaul. Operation rate of flash furnace raises from 98% to 99% above, crushing dust quantity by manpower reduces from 36 pot/d to 15 pot/d, SO2 emissions and particulate emissions reduce about 125 t/a and 50 t/a respectively, and anode copper fuel cost drops from 58.5 RMB/t to 43.5 RMB/t. The smelting system currently can operate in an efficient and environmental friendly way. |
