| Abstract: |
| "Double flash" copper smelting technology has been widely used in China due to its advantages of superior environmental indicators, low comprehensive energy consumption and high degree of automation. Four "double flash" copper smelters have been built and one is under construction in China. By comparing the "double flash" copper smelting technologies of Kennecott Utah smelter, Yanggu Xiangguang Copper Co., Ltd., Tongling Nonferrous Jinguan Copper Company, Guangxi Jinchuan Nonferrous Metals Co., Ltd., China Copper Southeast Copper Co., Ltd., and Yangxin Hongsheng Copper Co., Ltd., development of copper concentrate drying, copper concentrate conveying, flash smelting, matte granulation, matte pulverization and conveying, flash converting, anode refining, anode scrap treatment, and off-gas treatment technology were studied. It can provide ideas for application of "double flash" copper smelting technology and its future development direction. |
