| Abstract: |
| Based on theoretical basis of metal balance and heat balance of copper smelting, control variables such as slag, matte grade and matte temperature, as well as the operation variables such as flux, process air, oxygen content and heavy oil were constructed. An off-line mathematical model for copper flash smelting was developed, which has the same function as the on-line mathematical model. After two years of verification of more than 600 groups of data on flash furnace, under the same process conditions, the error between quartz ore ratio, process air volume, oxygen volume and heavy oil volume calculated by this software and the calculated value of the on-line control system is within 0.02%. |
