Abstract:
Nano-ZnS loaded cationic resin adsorbent, namely ZnS@D001, was prepared by loading ZnS nanoparticles in cationic resin D001 and used to absorb coexisting impurity metal ions (such as Cu2+ and Cd2+) in hydrometallurgical zinc leaching solution. High priority adsorption of Cu2+ were achieved in 10 g/L Zn2+ synthetic solution, but there was no adsorption effect on Cd2+. The adsorbed ZnS@D001 resin can be effectively desorbed by 1 mol/L HNO3, and then loaded with ZnS again. At the same time, the fixed bed column adsorption of synthetic zinc ion solution containing Cu2+ and Cd2+ metal ion impurities were tested. After treatment, copper impurity content in effluent can be effectively removed, which can be used as a potential functional material for deep purification of zinc liquid in the zinc smelting industry.
