Abstract:
      Copper concentrates raw materials of Jinchuan copper synthesis furnace (JCSF) mainly come from abroad, and the ore source composition is complex. The rapid expansion of copper smelting industry has led to increasingly fierce competition in copper raw material market, which results in continuous reduction of TC/RC (copper concentrate processing cost), difficulty in purchasing of raw material, and reduction of raw material quality and enterprise profits. It is a new way to reduce cost and improve profit point of JCSF through treat complex gold concentrates by pyrometallurgical matte-making to capture gold. Based on the actual production experience of JCSF in treating complex gold concentrate, the problems existing in production practice, improving equipment structure and optimizing process were comprehensively discussed. After optimization of single nozzle structure and process parameters, the material dam can be maintained at 850 mm, frozen layer is 500~600 mm, increase of smoke rate is controlled within 7%, temperature in convective zone of boiler is controlled, and the self heating and complete reaction of concentrates in the reaction tower can be basically realized, so as to provide guidance for treatment of complex gold concentrate by flash smelting furnace.
