Abstract:
Aiming at complex and difficult-to-handle characteristics of high-lead-zinc containing arsenic dust from lead smelting furnace, a concentrated sulfuric acid pre-activation leaching process was used to recover lead and zinc and remove harmful elements such as arsenic and cadmium. Effects of various parameters in pre-activation and leaching process on leaching of fume were investigated. The results show that leaching rate of zinc, arsenic, cadmium, and lead is 98.64%, 95.02%, 95.26% and 0.16%, respectively under the optimum conditions including ratio of acid to dust of 1 mL/g, pre-activation temperature of 60 ℃, pre-activation time of 2 h, sulfuric acid concentration of 0.5 mol/L, L/S of 5 mL/g, leaching temperature of 80 ℃, leaching time of 2 h, and stirring speed of 400 r/min.
