| Abstract: |
| In order to make full use of solid waste resources and reduce cost of desulfurization, magnesium slag produced in traditional Pidgeon magnesium smelting process was used as the matrix, desulfurization performances under different conditions including magnesium slag particle size, flue gas flow rate, sulfur dioxide concentration, mass of solid to liquid, and oxygen content were studied through laboratory wet desulfurization system. The results show that the smaller the particle size of sample, the slower the flow rate, the lower the flow rate of sulfur dioxide, and the lower the mass of solid to liquid, the higher the desulfurization amount. The adsorption capacity of sulfur dioxide is 1 354.62 mg/g under the conditions including particle size of 0.106 mm, flow rate of flue gas of 340 mL/min, flow rate of sulfur dioxide of 10 mL/min, mass of solid to liquid of 0.1 g/g, and saturation desulfurization time of 1 575 min. |
