| Abstract: |
| Leaching microorganisms (Thiobacillus ferrooxidans) are susceptible to environmental factors such as temperature and liquid-solid ratio during uranium bioleaching. Based on the variation of pH values, Eh values, iron ion concentrations and uranium leaching rate in uranium bioleaching solution, effects of temperature and L/S on uranium bioleaching of a uranium mine in south China were investigated. When temperature is 30 ℃ and L/S is 20, the microbial leaching effect of uranium ore is the best, and uranium leaching rate is 96.15% and 97.02% respectively. Thus, during uranium bioleaching process, it can be controlled by temperature and L/S to offer the optimal growth environment to improve uranium bioleaching. The results provide critical parameter and theoretical foundation for industrial production of a uranium mine in south China. |
