New Process for Resource Utilization of Waste Lead Paste with Composite Graphene

Abstract:
      Waste lead paste of lead acid battery was treated by atomic economic method to produce raw materials of positive electrode. The waste positive lead paste was washed, dried and crushed into particles with appropriate particle size, and then mixed with certain degree of oxidation lead powder and graphene for ball milling reaction. Then according to the current process of the factory, lead was prepared by using ball milling powder as raw material. The results show that in order to reduce the cost of preparing positive plate by recycling waste positive lead paste, the suitable ball milling conditions for waste positive lead paste include ball milling time of 6 h, ball milling speed of 400 r/min, addition of mass fraction of graphene of 0.1%, 80% oxidation degree of lead powder dosage of 40% of mass of waste lead paste. Compared with the traditional lead powder, the capacity and life of positive plate made from the treated ball mill material rise by 2.9% and 1.4% respectively.
