Abstract:
      To address high zinc and low cobalt content in organic cobalt residue produced by new reagent cobalt removal process and the difficulty of recovery, a method to recover valuable metals such as zinc and cobalt by cobalt slag washing, transforming, and oxidation leaching process was put forward through experimental research, and the optimal process parameters were obtained. In transforming process, dosage of transforming agent of sodium sulfide is theoretical amount, L/S=5, transforming temperature is 65 ℃, reaction time is 120 min, and pH value is 6-7. In one-stage oxidation leaching process, dosage of oxidant of ammonium persulfate is 0.6 times of theoretical amount, L/S=3, reaction temperature is 80 ℃, reaction time is 4 h, and terminal pH value is 2.5; In two-stage oxidation leaching process, dosage of oxidant of ammonium persulfate is 0.6 times of theoretical amount, L/S=5, reaction temperature is 80 ℃, and reaction time is 4 h. Cobalt content in residue is enriched to 10% above, zinc recovery is 81.8%, cobalt removal reagent can be reused after regeneration, this process is simple to operate, can be seamlessly connected with the zinc hydrometallurgy system.
