| Abstract: |
| Jarosite residue is a kind of zinc-containing waste slag produced in zinc hydrometallurgy, and its large accumulation will not only affect the ecological environment, but also lead to a backlog of valuable metal resources. The oxygen-enriched reduction and volatilization smelting process was used to treat the jarosite residue. Effects of reaction time, reaction temperature, carbon addition, and oxygen enrichment concentration on volatilization rate of lead and zinc during smelting and the silver content in smelting final slag were investigated. The leaching toxicity of final smelting slag was characterized. The results show that when reaction temperature is 1 250 ℃, reaction time is 90 min, carbon addition is 10% and oxygen enrichment concentration is 40%, the volatilization rate of lead and zinc is 99.66% and 99.88% respectively, and silver content in final smelting slag is 11.58 g/t. The concentrations of Cd, Zn, Pb, Cu, and As in leaching solution of final smelting slag are all lower than the TCLP international standard limit and the 《GB 5085.3—2007》standard limit. |
