| Abstract: |
| The leachate of recycled copper soot contains various valuable metals such as Cu, Zn, Fe, Cd, etc. Copper was extracted and separated from the leachate with "Lix984+sulfonated kerosene" organic phase, and iron in raffinate was removed by neutralization iron-removal method. Effects of extraction series, phase ratio O/A, extractant concentration, initial pH value of water phase, and extraction time on extraction of Cu2+ and separation with other metal ions were explored. Effects pH value of stripping solution, reaction temperature, and reaction time on iron removal from copper raffinate were investigated. The optimum conditions obtained in copper extraction experiment includes extraction series of 2, O/A=3︰4, extractant concentration of 15%, extraction time of 2 min, and initial pH value of water phase of 1.5. The optimal process parameters of iron removal experiment include pH value of end point of neutralization of 4.0, reaction temperature of 40 ℃, and reaction time of 1 h. Under the optimum conditions, extraction rate of Cu is 99.12%, and separation coefficient of Cu and Zn, Cd and Fe is 1 317.9, 1 178.7 and 651, respectively, which the effective separation of Cu from other metals is realized. Iron removal rate of copper extraction residue is 99.67%, and the iron removal liquid meets the concentration requirements of zinc electrolyte for Fe. |
