| Abstract: |
| Zhouyuan area is the origin of Zhou culture, and it is also one of the important areas to study bronzes of the Western Zhou Dynasty in China. In this work, SEM-EDS and MC-ICP-MS were used to analyze the composition and lead isotope ratio of the copper carriage in Hejia site. The composition test results show that the alloy type of Zhouyuan Hejia copper carriage is tin bronze. The isotope ratio analysis results show that the lead isotope ratios of samples belong to the range of ordinary lead. By comparing with the ore, it is found that lead isotope ratio is close to the data of Qinling region in Shaanxi province. This study shows that the metal resources of the Qinling Mountains may have been developed in the Western Zhou Dynasty, which provides a new scientific basis for the study of ore source of bronzes of the Western Zhou Dynasty in Zhouyuan area. |
