| Abstract: |
| Extraction of iron from SX-EW electrolyte with extractant N1923 was investigated. The results show that addition of modifier isooctanol in extraction process can effectively improve the phase separation performance. When the concentration of extractant is 10% and phase ratio is 2/1, the extraction performance is better, and the single-stage extraction of iron can reach 60% from electrolyte containing 3 g/L Fe. In the process of iron extracting, almost no other elements in electrolyte are extracted, and the acidity of electrolyte has little effect on extraction; The loaded organic phase after iron extracting has better stripping effect with 2 mol/L NaOH and phase ratio of 2/1, and the circulation of organic phase is better. Furthermore, the extractant entrainment into SX system has little effect on copper extraction. |
