Abstract:
In order to comprehensively understand the research progress and layout of soil remediation at home and abroad, the current status, research hotspots and development trend on soil remediation were analyzed by using the literatures published from 1990 to 2021 on soil remediation in Web of Science Core Collection (WOSCC) based on bibliometric methods and visual analysis software. The results show that the annual number of documents on soil remediation rise sharply. Compared with foreign research, although China starts late in this field, China has developed rapidly and become the country with the highest annual number of papers in 2009. Among all institutions, the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) have the highest number of publications and citations, as well as total contact strength, which reflects the remarkable influence and strong activity of CAS in this field. Keywords hotspots analysis shows that the current research on soil remediation mainly focuses on heavy metals and polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons contaminated soil, while the research hotspots of remediation technology are phytoremediation, bioremediation and biodegradation. Microbial remediation, biochar immobilization and other high-efficiency green remediation technologies would be the development trend and research hotspots in the field of soil remediation at present and in the future.
