Abstract:
      Simulation calculation of the process flow of oxygen-enriched side blowing treatment of zinc leaching tailings was conducted based on Metcal. The calculation results show that under the condition of input amount of 22 t/h, Oxygen amount required by side-blown furnace is 5 442.124 m3/h and air amount is 5 532.826 m3/h, and the output smelting slag contains Fe 32.903% and Zn 5. 677%. Air volume required by fuming furnace is 10 879.602 m3/h, and fumed slag produced at the same time contains Fe 47.786% and Zn 0.828%. Compared with the simulation results, Fe, Pb and Zn content in slag of smelting furnace is 2.783, 0.215 and 0.777 percentage points lower. Fe and Pb contents in fuming lag is 2.536 and 0.139 percentage points lower, while Zn content is 0.672 percentage point higher; Fe content in secondary zinc oxide is 0.771 percentage point lower, while Pb and Zn contents are 1.811 and 0.42 percentage point higher. The mathematical model of side-blown smelting desulfurization-fuming blowing zinc extraction process established based on Metcal has good reliability and has certain guiding significance for production.
