| Abstract: |
| Manganese anode slime is a by-product produced in anode chamber during the production of electrolytic manganese metal. About 100 kt of manganese anode slime with manganese content of 40%—50% will be produced from electrolytic manganese enterprises in China every year. It is a rare secondary manganese resource. Address to the technical problems of efficient resource separation and recovery of manganese anode slime, manganese anode slime from Guizhou Tongren Electrolytic Manganese Enterprise was used as raw material, and the element manganese in electrolytic manganese anode slime was leached in sulfuric acid system with dihydromyricetin, an extract from vine tea, as the reducing agent. Effects of dihydromyricetin dosage, L/S, sulfuric acid concentration, leaching time, and particle size on manganese leaching rate were investigated. The results show that manganese leaching is 96% under the conditions including mass ratio of dihydromyricetin to manganese anode slime of 0.09 g/g, sulfuric acid concentration of 2 mol/L, L/S=8, particle size of -0.15 mm, and leaching time of 120 min. This study can effectively separate manganese and lead from electrolytic manganese anode slime while ensuring the efficient leaching of manganese, which provides technical reference for the resource utilization of solid waste of electrolytic manganese anode slime. |
