| Abstract: |
| A large number of studies have proved that the electrokinetic - permeable reactive barrier (EK-PRB) combined technology can be used for the remediation of heavy metal contaminated soil, but its remediation efficiency is low and energy consumption is high, and it may also lead to problems such as focusing effects. It is very necessary to research PRB in strengthening repair. The principle of EK-PRB technology was briefly described. The main influencing factors of EK-PRB technology were introduced. The advantages and disadvantages, and repair effects of EK-PRB enhanced repair method were summarized. The research progress of EK-PRB technology was introduced. Finally, the prospects of enhanced remediation of heavy metals by EK-PRB technology were made, and the direction of in-depth exploration was pointed out. It can lay a foundation for the practical application of EK-PRB technology in remediation of soils contaminated with various heavy metals in the future. |
