Abstract:
The oxidized waste paper was used as cross-linking agent to fix persimmon tannin in crops, and U(Ⅵ) in water was adsorbed by the method of "waste to waste". The adsorption capacity of uranium(Ⅵ) on persimmon tannin modified by waste paper (DAWP-PT) at different pH value, adsorption time and rotation speed was investigated by intermittent method. The results show that adsorption of DAWP-PT on uranium(Ⅵ) conforms to Langmuir and quasi-second-order kinetic model, and it is an adsorption process with spontaneous endothermic entropy increase. DAWP-PT is expected to provide a new adsorbent with high efficiency, no pollution and low cost for the treatment of uranium-containing wastewater
