| Abstract: |
| Solvent extraction technology was used to recover platinum and palladium from the waste solution containing trace precious metals. The experimental results show that palladium can be selectively extracted from the waste solution with extraction rate of 99.9% above under the conditions including 3% LiX84-I + 97% Solvesso150 in organic phase, 0.1 mol/L HCl, and phase ratio of 1︰3. The extraction rate of platinum is 99.95% above from palladium raffinate by 8% TOA + 92% sulfonation in organic phase and phase ratio of 1︰5, which realized the effective recovery of precious metals. Compared with precipitation method and replacement method, solvent extraction method has the advantages of simpler operation, higher metal recovery rate, and can realize the recovery and separation of precious metals in one step. The treated wastewater can be directly incorporated into the conventional sewage treatment process to meet the requirements of environmental protection |
