| Abstract: |
| In order to explore the leaching situation of uranium with Fe3+ as oxidant in acid leaching process, the simulation software PHREEQE was used to establish a model to observe the concentration and migration changes of each component of the leaching solution, so as to reveal the relationship between the oxidant Fe3+ and leached uranium. The results show that as an oxidant, Fe3+ promotes the dissolution of uranium ore and the appearance of Fe2+. With the end of uranium leaching, Fe3+ concentration tends to be stable. The dissolution rate of uranium ore is closely related to the growth rate of Fe3+ and Fe2+. When the concentration of Fe3+ rises rapidly, Fe2+ concentration rises and dissolution of uranium ore accelerates. As the dissolution rate of uranium ore drops to zero, the growth rate of Fe2+ approaches zero, and the growth rate of oxidant Fe3+ also drops to zero. |
