| Abstract: |
| The importance and necessary of treatment and resource utilization of waste gas containing hydrogen fluoride (HF) and hydrogen chloride (HCl) were revealed by combining the current development status of domestic metallurgical industry and environmental pollution problems. The main sources as well as hazards of industrial fluorine and chlorine containing waste gases were introduced, and the principles as well as advantages and disadvantages of various current methods for separate treatment of fluorine and chlorine containing waste gases were analyzed. The wet process is widely used in the field of smelting flue gas because of its high efficiency, directness and simple operation. However, wet adsorption of these two gases also has problems such as secondary pollution and waste of water resources. A new idea is provided to synergistically purify these two gases which proposed to be more economical, environmentally friendly and efficient method by dry adsorption. |
