| Abstract: |
| In order to restore and control the heavy metal pollution of a smelting slag in Sichuan, and reduce the bioavailability of multiple heavy metals in the smelting slag, the growth characteristics of Acidithiobacillus ferrooxidans and its blocking effect on heavy metals the smelting slag were studied applying Acidithiobacillus ferrooxidans as strain and the smelting slag as research object. The results show that when the initial pH value is 2.0 and the inoculum size is 15%, the reduction rate of bioavailability of Fe, Zn, Cu and Pb in smelting slag is 98.05%, 0, 0 and 100%, respectively. When the initial pH value is 5.0 and the inoculum size is 5%, the reduction rate of Fe, Zn, Cu and Pb bioavailability in smelting slag is 93.03%, 62.92%, 56.44% and 52.56%, respectively. It is feasible to use Acidithiobacillus ferrooxidans to retain heavy metals in a copper beneficiation mine in Sichuan, which can provide reference for the remediation of similar beneficiation slag. |
