Abstract:
The determination of leaching range is an important part of acid in-situ uranium leaching process. Taking a uranium mining area in Inner Mongolia as an example, based on the hydrodynamic model and solute transport model, the leaching range was determined by pH<2, hydraulic gradient tending to natural flow field, and path line cumulative flow contribution rate is more than 97%, respectively. The leaching range determined under the three conditions is compared and analyzed. The following results can be obtained: 1) The solution leaching range determined by the three methods is close to that of uranium ore, which can be used to characterize the solution leaching range. 2) There are some differences between the edge position of the three methods and the dissolution range of uranium ore, among which the pH delineation range is the closest. 3) The operation with pH<2 as the standard is less difficult, and the data processing of the other two methods is more complex. It is considered that pH<2 is the most suitable for characterizing the leaching range.
