Abstract:
The collaborative leaching system of tartrate-thiosulfate is conducted to leach an oxidized gold ore. Experimental parameters include leaching time, concentrations of copper sulfate, sodium thiosulfate and sodium tartrate, temperature, and solution pH values. The experimental results showed that the gold extraction can reach 96.03% under the optimized conditions: 0.075 mol/L copper sulfate, 0.5 mol/L thiosulfate, 0.075 mol/L tartrate, 80 ℃, pH 10.3, and 9 h of leaching time. The results show that the capability of gold leaching with the copper-tartrate-thiosulfate thiosulfate system is similar to that of cyanidation and much better than that of the traditional copper-ammonia-thiosulfate system.
