| Abstract: |
| Using peroxide for flue gas desulfurization is an effective way to reduce the content of SO2 in metallurgical tail gas. Three-dimensional numerical simulation of gas-liquid two-phase flow in a laboratory-level small-scale peroxide online preparation device was carried out. It is found that the gas and liquid blown from the bottom impels the formation of stable annular flow, which is the basis for ensuring the efficiency of peroxide generation and the effective operation of the device. The two key parameters of the plate spacing and the injection rate were optimized. The optimum plate spacing is 30 mm and the optimum injection rate is 0.94 m/s based on several factors such as average flow velocity, mean turbulent kinetic energy, injection fluid utilization rate and plate shear stress. |
