| Abstract: |
| The effect of guanidine sulfate as an electrolytic manganese additive in sulfate system on electrolysis was studied. XRD and SEM analysis show that the α-Mn with good crystallinity and cubic structure could be prepared by guanidine sulfate, and the surface of metallic manganese is uniform. The electrochemical mechanism of cathode was analyzed by cyclic voltammetry and AC impedance test. The results show that guanidine sulfate can effectively inhibit the hydrogen evolution reaction and promote the deposition of manganese. Under the optimal conditions, the current efficiency reaches 64.1%. |
