| Abstract: |
| "Carbon Labeling" is a comprehensive carbon management system that provides customers with carbon data over the life cycle of a product in the form of a label, which can directly influence customer decisions and company management decisions. China is the world""s largest producer and consumer of nonferrous materials, and carrying out carbon labeling certification for the nonferrous metals industry is an important method to achieve green and low-carbon development and reduce carbon barriers to international trade. The purpose of this paper is to discuss the necessity and urgency of carbon label certification in China""s nonferrous metals industry and to highlight its importance for achieving green and low-carbon development. Combined the carbon footprint data of domestic and foreign products and the current development of carbon labeling, a series of suggestions were proposed in order to provide a reference for China""s nonferrous metal industry carbon labeling certification work and present a vision for its future development. |
