| Abstract: |
| Using metal tantalum powder as raw material, capacitor grade tantalum wire was prepared by powder metallurgy processes such as cold isostatic pressing, vacuum vertical melting sintering, rolling and drawing. The characteristics of tantalum metal powder, such as microstructure, particle size distribution and chemical composition, as well as the characteristics of tantalum blank processing, forming and sintering process, directly affect the density of tantalum blank after sintering, and also directly affect the physical and chemical properties of capacitor grade tantalum wire. The results show that when the average particle size of tantalum powder is 5.5—6.5 μm, it is beneficial to the sintering of tantalum blank. High chemical impurity content of tantalum powder, low isostatic pressure, poor sintering furnace atmosphere and other factors are not conducive to the density of tantalum blank. |
