Abstract:
Rapid recovery of various elements from sintered manganese ore by organic and inorganic acids was investigated. The leaching effects of acetic acid, oxalic acid, citric acid, hydrochloric acid, and sulfuric acid on leaching of Mn, Si, Ca, Mg, and Fe at room temperature were discussed. The experiments find that the experimental group with L/S=50mL/g and 2.50 mol/L oxalic acid of 10 mL has the best leaching effect, and the leaching rate of Mn, Si, and Mg is 52.01%, 66.53% and 77.84%, respectively. The best leaching effect of oxalic acid is due to the strong acidity of oxalic acid and its complexing effect on various elements. In order to improve the leaching rate of Si to obtain soluble silicon, 5 g of manganese ore was reacted in 250 mL of 0.50 mol/L oxalic acid solution for one hour, and ammonium bicarbonate was added to the supernatant to obtain solid soluble silicon. The effective silicon content of the soluble silicon is 61.86%. The experimental results can provide an effective reference for the silicon production process. Finally, the adsorption energy and electron transfer amount between each acid and each element were simulated and calculated.
