Abstract:
Tantalum oxide powders with different oriented structural morphology (rod shape or fiber shape) were prepared by neutralization reaction, precipitation, drying and high temperature calcination with self-made high purity tantalum acid as raw materials. The effects of reaction temperature, reactant concentration, dispersant content on the size and morphology of tantalum oxide particles were studied. Tantalum oxide powder was characterized by XRD and SEM. The results show that the crystallinity of tantalum oxide powder rises with the increase of calcination temperature during the preparation of tantalum oxide; The higher the ammonia concentration, the more uniform and regular the morphology of tantalum oxide particles, but the higher ammonia concentration will reduce the uniformity of tantalum oxide powder morphology. The optimum reaction temperature for preparing 2D oriented rod-shaped tantalum oxide powder is 40—50 ℃; The suitable dosage of dispersant PEG6000 for one dimensional orientation fibrous tantalum oxide is about 1%.
