| Abstract: |
| In order to recover valuable metals and achieve harmless treatment of arsenic from arsenic-containing dust in copper smelting, the electrodeposition method was used to remove arsenic from the leaching solution of arsenic-containing dust. The effects of current density, As(Ⅲ) concentration, pH value and additives on arsenic removal efficiency were studied, and the electrochemical behavior was analyzed by cyclic voltammetry. The results show that the current efficiency of elemental arsenic, H2 and AsH3 is 91.41%, 7.06% and 1.99%, respectively, under the optimal conditions, and the high efficiency of arsenic removal is realized. The addition of sodium citrate can reduce the reduction potential of electrodeposition and promote metal discharge. The process proposed in this research can recover valuable metals and dispose arsenic harmlessly. |
