| Abstract: |
| The removal effect of Cr(Ⅵ) in water by Fe78Si9B13 amorphous ribbons was compared with zero-valent iron powder with particle size of —48 μm. The results show that the removal process of amorphous ribbons meets the pseudo-first-order dynamic model. After 25 minutes of reaction, the removal rate of zero-valent iron powders is only 88%, while the removal rate of amorphous ribbons is 99.8%. Through observation and analysis of the reaction products after the test, it is found that Cr(Ⅵ) is only removed by zero-valent iron powder through adsorption, while Cr(Ⅵ) is removed by amorphous alloy strip not only by physical adsorption, but also by chemical reduction. |
