| Abstract: |
| In the electrolytic process of chloride molten salt electrolyzer, the temperature is greatly affected, so it is necessary to analyze and calculate the electric heating field in the electrolytic cell. COMSOL software was used to establish a three-dimensional electric heating field model of chloride molten salt electrolytic cell to obtain the potential and temperature distribution in the cell and analyze the heat balance of the electrolytic cell. Based on the heat balance, the influence of structural parameters of electrolytic cell on electric heating field was calculated, and the amplification equation was derived. The results show that shortening the distance between anode and cathode, increasing the height of cathode, radius of cathode, radius of anode and height of electrolyte surface can improve the current intensity under the condition of thermal balance. The optimization design of structure or the enlargement design of electrolytic cell can be carried out according to the dimensionless relation without complicated modeling, which can save computing resources. |
