| Abstract: |
| Dust sulphation reaction has an important influence on dust accretions in Waste Heat Boiler (WHB) of copper flash smelting furnace. In order to perceive and improve the process of dust sulphation in WHB, numerical simulations were conducted for the processes such as flow and heat transfer in the WHB with different air supply modes. An index named Mixing Uniformity (MU) was proposed to reflect indirectly the process state of dust sulphation, and the air supply mode of WHB were evaluated and optimized by using MU. The optimized air supply mode proposed in this study has been applied in practice and achieved good performance. |
