| Abstract: |
| In view of the toxic and harmful effects of manganese-containing wastewater, anion-exchange membrane was proposed instead of diaphragm to treat manganese-containing wastewater. First, the single factor method test was used to explore the optimum process parameters, and under the optimum conditions, the current efficiency is 71.36%, the recovery rate of manganese is 85.6%, the recovery rate of acid is 77.23%, and the energy consumption is 7 784.78 kWh/t. The macroscopic form of electrolytic manganese is smooth and homogeneous with metallic luster. The results of SEM and XRD analysis on the effect of different concentration of selenite on electrolytic manganese show that, when the selenite is 0.07 g/L, the microstructure of electrolytic manganese is uniform, densely packed, smooth, dendrite free and with minimum voids. The electrolytic manganese prepared is α-Mn with good crystallinity. |
