| Abstract: |
| CL-Cyanex272 extraction resin was prepared by emulsion suspension polymerization with styrene as monomer, divinylbenzene as cross-linking agent, and Cyanex272 as extractant. The effects of Co concentration, temperature, pH value, saponification degree and time on the adsorption of Co, Ni and Mg by CL-Cyanex272 were investigated by static adsorption method. The effect of CL-Cyanex272 on purification of Co containing solution in continuous dynamic process was investigated by extractive chromatography method. The results show that the adsorption capacity of Co by CL-Cyanex272 is 21.4 mg/g at pH=6 and saponification degree of 100%. Controlling saponification degree of >70% and pH≥5 leads to better separation of Ni and Mg from Co, the separation coefficients reach 1 697 and 18, respectively. In the dynamic adsorption test, Co concentration in the feed liquid is purified from 80.15% to 99.9996% by CL-Cyanex272. This study provides a good basis for the industrial purification of Co solution with CL-Cyanex272. |
