Abstract:
Constructed wetland is widely used in the advanced treatment of domestic sewage tail water and industrial wastewater, because of its good nitrogen and phosphorus removal performance. However, with the increasingly strict requirements of environmental protection policies, the traditional constructed wetlands have limited capacity to treat different sewage, resulting in the difficulty of most sewage treatment is difficult to meeting the requirements of standard discharge in most sewage treatment. Therefore, more and more enhancement techniques have been applied to the constructed wetland system to enhance the pollutant purification performance of constructed wetlands. The current enhancement technologies to improve the nitrogen and phosphorus removal performance by constructed wetlands were mainly reviewed from the aspects of rational design of constructed wetlands, construction of composite artificial constructed wetland system combined with pretreatment technologies, and strengthening measures of heat preservation and dissolved oxygen control. The application of constructed wetlands in the treatment of nonferrous metal industrial wastewater was briefly outlined.
