| Abstract: |
| Limonite-type laterite nickel deposits is an important resource rich in nickel, cobalt and iron, represents a significant and highly valuable resource for comprehensive utilization. The occurrence state of nickel and cobalt in laterite nickel deposits was studied to understand the influence of occurrence state on the in-depth recovery and utilization of nickel and cobalt. Through detailed process mineralogy study, it is clear that nickel and cobalt mainly occur in limonite, manganese hydrate oxide and manganese-nickel minerals. Based on these characteristics, high-pressure acid leaching process is identified as the optimal smelting and recycling method. The research provides crucial insights for the efficient utilization of limonitic nickel deposits and beneficial enlightenment for related industrial applications and environmental protection. |
