| Abstract: |
| A lead-zinc smelter recovers valuable metals by treating lead-zinc smelting slag in fuming furnace. Due to the short service life of the steel cooling water jacket used in the fuming furnace, the operation rate is low. At the same time, due to high SiO2 content in smelting slag of fuming furnace, the fluidity of furnace slag often deteriorates, which affects the operation rate. With the increase of slag production in the smelter, the problem of insufficient capacity of fuming furnace has become increasingly prominent, and it is urgent to improve the operation rate and furnace bed capacity. Through systematic research, the process and equipment of fuming furnace were optimized and reformed. The actual operation rate of fuming furnace increases from 85.01% to 96.48%, and the bed capacity increases by 3.9 t/(m2?d) to 21~22 t/(m2?d). |
