| Abstract: |
| In order to comprehensive understand the control mechanism of sulfur-containing flue gas escape by water-cooled sealing trolley in the process of converter shaking, the control effect and mechanism of sulfur-containing flue gas escape under different position and different structures of water-cooled sealing trolley were studied based on numerical simulation. The results show that the combined action of the trolley""s block and the bottom updraft air seal effectively inhibits the flue gas escape. Increasing the length of the trolley strengthens the sealing effect and is conducive to sulfide enrichment. Specifically, at the lower limit, when the length of the trolley is extended from 3.6 m to 4.0 m, the concentration of SO2 in the process flue rises from 7.8% to 9.8%, and the concentration of SO3 rises from 1.1% to 1.4%. |
