Abstract:
Aiming at the characteristics of complex composition and difficult treatment of titanium-containing blast furnace slag of vanadium titanium-magnetite smelting byproduct, ammonium chloride roasting activation - leaching process was used to remove impurity metal elements such as calcium, aluminum and magnesium, to obtain titanium enrichment. The effects of various parameters on the removal of impurities during roasting and leaching were investigated. The results show that under the optimal conditions including roasting temperature of 450 ℃, roasting time of 1 h, ammonium chloride ratio of 40%, raw material of —0.074 mm accounts of 83%, hydrochloric acid concentration of 9%, liquid-solid ratio of 5, leaching time of 4 h, and leaching temperature of 90 ℃, the removal rate of calcium, aluminum and magnesium in titanium-bearing blast furnace slag is 73.22%, 90.04% and 91.39%, respectively, and the titanium loss rate is only 0.34%. This research achieves the purpose of selectively removing the impurity elements in the slag and improving the quality of titanium-containing blast-furnace slag.
